lets just give them time.... or at least a little that is. last year we were 1-4 and our 4th loss coming as a result of a 30 point whoopin by the sonics in seattle. this year were 1-4 too. our 4th loss coming as a result of a 4th quarter meltdown against a hungry rested nuggets team in denver. last year we were dealing with an aging webber still recovering from that horrendous surgery that reshaped his career and tossed him tumbling down the wrong path. we were also dealing with an aging christie who was still recovering from a foot surgery. this year were healthy, no chemistry but at least healthy. were playing bad right now as i somewhat expected from this team early on. what i didnt expect is- from the 1 game i saw- how boring we are. coming into this season i expected some excitement but i havent heard or seein anything yet. so not only are they playing bad and it is deeply hurting me, but they are also playing uninspired boring basketball that makes me wish we were back in the good ol' days a few years back. were not really going anywhere this year which is pretty obvious, but what i will do and what i hope some of you can do is at least give this team some time before writing them off. we've had a tough early schedule. our only home game was against the strongest team in the league. it'll just take time. lets just sit back, enjoy this year, hope for the best, cause you know what? we might never ever have a team like this again. VF and others from way back, i know you dont wanna go back to those days. so just enjoy the team we have assembled and dont take anything for granted.

The Good Ole Days

Last night on TNT Magic was talking about how Phoenix reminds him of the old Sacramento...when we had BJax and Vlade and CWebb and all those backcuts and just played the kind of basketball you love to watch. I miss those days too!!!!! You are totally right, not only are we losing but it's almost like they expect to lose. I know it wont stay this way!

patience has nothing to do with it..... the second highest scoring team in the league last year score 9 ****ing points in the 4th....

magic was right about the back cuts.... and i dont see why the kings cant do the little things that with the players that they have.... peja isnt moving well without the ball and there isnt one player out there with him that doesnt want to pass the ball to him.... and he's jacking up whack *** shots.... 6'7 gf's are shutting him down in the 4th and thats sad....

Not so sure about that -- think one of our major problems is that we have too many scorers, and frankly they aren't just going to stand around and patiently wait for Peja to run around for 10 seconds trying to get open when they have offensive options themselves.

The Suns remind me nothing of the Kings of old. They remind me more of the Nuggets of old. The Kings didn't play up-tempo like the Suns despite what people think.

Mm..first couple of years we sure did. Took a while to really become a strong halfcourt team.

Nonetheless, Suns are distinctly different because with them its always a one-man engine powering the offense, where from the beginning with us it was the multitude of great passers that made the ball fly around.

Yeah I guess thats true the J-Will years were more like the Suns. Man, that was some exciting basketball.
