Would you take on Mayo's deal to make it work? I could see something like JT/Williams/Stauskas for Henson/Ilyasova/mayo.
Would totally eliminate cap space for next year but it would at least be worth looking at.

No one is above getting traded.
Look up the Herschel Walker trade. Dallas ended up bending Minnesota over a barrel on that trade. Considered one of the worst trades in all of sports. This would be the only instance id entertain a cousins trade.
Your telling me if PDA could find someone who's willing to give up the world for cousins you wouldn't do it? And Im the tool? Ha hahaha
I see you're still playing "insider".To nobody's surprise, I've been told that Jason and Derrick have most certainly been made available, but no bites. The Kings have added Nik Stauskas as a sweetener, which has teams interested, and while there are possibilities being discussed, nothing concrete in the works quite yet.

There's two options here, one, you like the attention you receive while presenting yourself as someone with inside access or two, you're a prime example of the incompetence and unprofessionalism running rampant throughout our organization, where loose lips would actually be an understatement and someone in our FO on an almost daily basis is leaking rumors for you to post on this forum, possibly to gauge reaction(which James Ham suggests in fact is a practice our FO engages in), which would also more than likely mean you registered here in Nov with a clear intention aside from just being a fan who wants to discuss their favorite team.
I'm not sure which it is but you randomly a few weeks ago changed your shtick and have been playing insider ever since.
Yeah, I'd probably do that. Mayo wouldn't be a disaster off the bench - and frankly is better than Nik right now. If we could get the JT/Ilyasova bit out of there it would be a lot more palatable. Williams/Nik for Henson/Mayo? Done.
Cleveland is not trading LeBron James, and New Orleans is not trading Anthony Davis, which means it would have to be a multi-team deal. There is no one team that could put together a package that I would trade a twenty-four year-old Cousins for.Your telling me if PDA could find someone who's willing to give up the world for cousins you wouldn't do it? For a guy on the level of Jerebko or Ilyasova, I can't fathom including Nik. I'd rather stand pat than do that.

I understand the forum rules regarding accusations but something odd is happening around here of late and a number have noticed. What James Ham said only lends credence to it on top of that Pace member.Ya think?Unless info is provided with a link, I am not bothering with the info. This guy acts like we should accept his info as fact and that is a bunch of foolishness. Perhaps he doesn't understand that some fans are intelligent. As he may very well have been sent here, that further lowers my opinion of the FO.

I wouldn't trade Thompson for either one of those guys.

If GQ is a legit insider, has it been verified? I don't mind a true insider but it's quite a slippery slope having a poster presenting himself as just that. If we had a legit insider it'd be nice to have it confirmed so we can open a serious dialogue with an open channel to the FO. That's what is odd though, if gauging true fan reaction is the intent and participating on the forum, verify yourself and open up a Q&A and let's take this thing seriously and make the most it(like both PDA and Dave have done on reddit). It could be a real positive. But if we're getting our chains yanked...
Edit: Probably have said enough though, I know this is a sticky issue and the MODs will handle it as they see fit.
Yuck it up with the communist jokes, but something stinks.

I dunno. At worst, Jerebko is a salary dump. That's not bad.
I just don't think that Thompson at his current salary is a problem that needs to be salary dumped. We need to use him better (and look! A shiny new Hall-of-Fame coach!) but for his size, skill, and experience level he's not overpaid and on top of that he's not really the easiest guy to replace. Is he the be-all-end-all? By no means, but he's a rotation big man who would be perfect as Cousins' primary backup and first big off the bench, if we could just do something about a starter.
I will continue to back up comments like this as long necessary. Not all of the starting 5 can be stars and in fact that may be a misuse of skill.

And there's evidence that the starting five really isn't the problem! See latest article here: http://bit.ly/1Dm47vX
I'd really like to see some moves that turn the collection of bench parts into 3 good off the bench rotation guys, but given the assets we have, that could be difficult.
Not to be too pedantic, but George Karl is not in the hall of fame.I just don't think that Thompson at his current salary is a problem that needs to be salary dumped. On a personal note, a name that I have heard tossed around the idea barn; I would love Wilson Chandler on this team. The Nuggets' asking price for Chandler seems to be higher than that of Aaron Afflalo, but I truly believe he would be a great fit in George Karl's system. The Kings would be able to play him along side Rudy Gay giving us tremendous size/length on our wings, and given his versatility as well as the fact that he has the ability to spread the floor, he has got to be intriguing to this front office.

If like him as a versatile bench piece but no way as a starting 4. Unfortunately I think Denver's asking price is too high.
That was an excellent read. We need a new bench mob, badly. And there's evidence that the starting five really isn't the problem! See latest article here: http://bit.ly/1Dm47vX

I'd trade Landry for him.
I'm not especially attached to Jason Thompson, but he's the only guy on our team who can defend low post bigs. I feel like whatever trade we make to move Thompson has to bring back a player who can also do that. Ersan Ilyasova is not that player.
