JO's suspension reduced

#31
The reason the suspension was reduced is because there is a marked difference in intensity between charging the stands to hit somebody, and just waiting for people to come to you before hitting them.

And now, the emminately unqualified Ninth District Federal Circuit Court has weighed in and affirmed the lower courts ruling upholding a one sided "arbitration" allowing Mr. O'Neil to reduce his sentence to time served...yes, the most overturned Circuit court in the land. Again, to me, this issue is one of jurisdiction, not appropriateness of punishment. And if the Players Union recognizes the League's supremecy on the issue of discipline then it seems to me that they will ultimately fail, but then Mr. O'Neil will have played anyway which was their original intent. However, if the issue of discipline has been subject to collective bargaining then the issue becomes much more sticky and should be based upon the current wording of the CBA, not upon right to work issues not previously addressed in the CBA.
