House Party Live!!

We are having a holiday get-together on January 3rd at KVIE studios (off West El Camino in South Natomas) for House Party Live. Come and meet Jim Kozimor (whose birthday is on Jan 2nd) and Kayte Christensen.

This will be a pot-luck. We will be feeding our group and the crew of HPL so think of a specialty of yours and bring it to share.

There will be a FT shooting contest. I'm working on getting a prize for the winner from MS&E. Wish me luck!

This is a family event. Bring yourselves! Bring your children! Bring your children's friends!


It is important that you sign up with me and let me know the size of your party. Space is limited, so sign up quickly if you want to be included.
The game on Jan 3rd is scheduled for 4 p.m. That means House Party goes live at 3:30. Plan to arrive between 3:00 and 3:15.

I thought I'd provide a little detail like I did in response to a PM.


"Well, first we watch HPL live as they are doing it in the studio. We also can watch the halftime show and the wrap up show after the game if we want.

The idea is just that KF.com members get together to meet each other, share a potluck meal, shoot some hoops (as well as having a FT shooting contest for all ages) and watch the Kings game together, instead of watching an away game at home by yourself (like I do).

It is a fun way to meet and greet and cost nothing, except that you are asked to bring one of your favorite potluck dishes to share.

I noticed on HPL shows camera sometimes pans around catching the various guests. "IF" I go to another Kings game this season it's only like *THIS* and "IF" I ever attend a HPL show I would only do so if allowed to come with this generic veil cover

You not only can come with the covering , but I know the places that are safe from the cameras. Since I am a ham, I don't usually take advantage of those places. If you decide to come, I'll pass on the secrets.

Saturday's game time has been changed. The game will start at 3 p.m. PST. That means HPL will go live at 2:30. We need to arrive between 2 and 2:15 to set up the pot-luck.

Since the game is so early, we can just plan on a late lunch. Serving will begin at approximately 2:50 p.m.
