Joel back to Portland

Ron is more a Franchise players right hand man... Now if we could just find the Franchise guy to pair him up with.

Why would they do that? They could just let him walk...

Yeah, that's the thing. The reason a S&T didn't make sense for Przybilla is because Portland didn't have his Bird rights, and they couldn't have offered him more money. So as long as he didn't get snatched up by a team with cap space they could only give him the same deal everyone else could. It was either re-sign him or let him walk. Luckily for them he re-signed.

I agree, Ron is a star, but he can't take over a game offensively as much as he'd liked to think he can. Defensively he's a superstar, an impact player without a doubt. As for the franchise player to play alongside Ron?.... well your avatar is looking pretty tempting Packt.

We haven't been able to see the guy the last two years play near a full season for obvious reasons... he looked awesome to start off 2004. Similar for the start of 2005 (longer obviously).

He worked on his jumper last summer, said it felt good, and it looked good in Indy. But obviously the 1 month and a half off hindered his game shape, just practicing at gyms around the country, and still played well and on a high level for us.

Anyway, I think he's an excellent player, and can possibly be that guy. But obviously needs help, lol.
