January Games for the CAP NBA Live 2005 Dynasty

"It wasn't the game The Peter was expecting, but I've played worse. Plus, we won, so The Peter can approve of his game today."

Mike:

Well I promised my best game and thats what I delivered. I turned it over to much but I think we all were sloppy. Miles had a great game and Im hoping bball's arm is ok. He is the heart of this team and we will support him untill he returns. If I can score 20 in 13mins then I hope coach gives me a shot at the starting lineup for a game and sees what I can do with 20mins. Can you believe I missed that dunk. Geeze! I only have to say one more thing. Look out Lebron!

Not yet. You have only played 4 games, and I don't think that will happen. WE have to see your numbers after the All star break adn then we can talk about it.

David Jin-Wu is your same positoin and if you get hte starting spot it will be exchange for him. It is a difficult task to cahnge starting spots since David has played the whole season and you have played a few games.

Patience is the key.

I know but still... extra time is extra time to score.

I think you are better of f in the bench so we could have good poeple in the bench and you could be another sparkplufg ot hte team!

1 minute = 1.5 minutes if you want realistic time for quotes

To make it easier for you all:
12-15 minutes about 20 minutes played, 20 minutes is 30 minutes played.

''This team plays Memphis-like playing rotations (startes don't get much more time than the bench) and plays like Chicago (causes many turnovers and makes many turnovers).''

Is the ''dunk over layup'' slider over 50? There are a lot of dunks. I usually put mine at 20(% chance of dunking) so the dunks are more rare which makes them more exciting like in real life. Hearing about so many dunks kind of waters down the excitment of the play-by-play. Would also be nice to hear about some defense too.

I will change it to maybe 25-30.

I am doing fine thanks for asking! I will play the next game but not many minutes.

Next time we play a really crappy team record wise can you simmulate the game and see how it spreads the shots out and stuff? If not thats cool but just thought it might be interesting to do and during a unimportant game.

Nah, not this game. I would like to see us play Cavs at home since we get to face Lebron! Maybe another game. There will probably be one so we will see.

C Diddy in the locker room after the game:

We played extremely well. Miles and Mike carried us. They were unbelievable tonight. 20 off the bench is impressive, for sure. I know I didn't pass the ball as much as I usually do but there was a couple hotties from the Palms in the front row and I just wanted to dunk all day. Speaking of the Palms, anyone know how Mario is doing in that Maloof invitational hold em' tourney? I gotta go check on the little guy.

C Diddy's phone conversation with Mario Lemieux at 11:36pm, after the game:

C Diddy: You what? You went all-in with 7-2offsuit again? How many times do I need to tell you that is the worst hand in hold em?

Mario Lemieux: Squawk, caw, grumble.

Diddy: I don't care if Phil Hellmuth told you to do it.

ML: Squawk, Phil Hellmuth, caw, squawk.

Diddy: I know, he's a punk. Come home safe.

Haha... Mario Mario Mario... :)

Miles Clipper:

Sorry I'm so late with my comments. My mom was at the game, and you know you have to spend time with Mom when she comes all the way to Arco to see you play. Besides, she said she'd fix my favorite meal if I had a good game so I HAD to have a good game. And Mom kept her promise!!!

Anybody know where Mario is? He wasn't in his regular spot when I showed up for practice this morning...

Email sent to Miles:

Thank you for your concern over the whereabouts of Mario. I just picked him up at the airport. He was gonna take a taxi but he was a little hungover and got reasonably offended at a cabbie for having a feather in his cap. Luckily enough, I should make it back in time for the game. Please try and cut Mario some slack the next couple days. He usually doesn't drink that much. Phil Hellmuth really set him back in his hold em' skill progression. I told Mario to be gracious and tell him he liked his book but unfortunately, Phil doesn't speak Penguin. All should be right this week. Look for me to dunk a few times today while calling out Hellmuth's name in vain.

D. Mykonos Quotes:

I better get a red bull before the game. My game's been stinkin lately. Oh well, every player has their slumps.

Miles, responding to C Diddy via this forum because he doesn't really understand the intricacies of email:

I'm just glad to hear my little buddy is okay! I was worried. He's kinda my good luck charm. I've played the best games of my Kings career since he's been around. Did that Hellmouth dude hurt him? Want me to teach him some manners? He can't hurt Mario and get away with it!!!... Tell Mario I put some lemon-lime Gatorade in to chill and he can have all he wants!

I wanted to say that Bballskingsrock is doing a great thing here with this thing. I congragulate him for it and appreciate it.

After saying this I wanted to say that I think it is unfair to kick people off if they dont respond for a couple days. My phone line and DSL have been down for the last 7 days and so I have not been able to be on. Also, even before that, I was out of town and unable to get online. So for the last 12 days I hav been unable to respond. Looking through the pages of posts i missed, i saw peoples names changed and the people who made them originally not being in control or whatever. I just wanted to point out that i felt it was a little unfair that i got booted for c-diddy...i'm not complaining or asking/demanding my spot back, i just wanted to voice my opinion....

again, thank you bballkings, i hope you keep this going.

I am so sorry, well maybe when you went out of town, you could of told us so you could keep your spot.

Okay, time out...

1. No one knew you were going to start replacing players if the people didn't check in regularly.

2. Bobby isn't asking for his spot back. He is pointing out that sometimes things happen to keep people away from the board.

3. There's no reason to make a bigger deal out of this than it already is. This is the first time you've done it. You're going to make mistakes. Maybe next time you can make it clear that people who don't check it might end up being replaced.

Mike:

That was Marios gatorade? :o

Miles:

WHAT?!?!? You stole my Gatorade? Dude, that is so low. Players don't steal from other players. It was in the cooler between my locker and Mario's crib. I can't believe you took it. That sucks, man...

Mike:

Steal? Too strong of a word. Rookie mistake? Thats more like it. I got a call from Ron and he told me it was important to do a late late night workout with no shoes or shirt and shorts too small for my own good so I listened, like the rookie that I am and practiced my shooting a lot as well as handling. Well lets just say it was late, I was thirsty and I dont like the water in Arco. I replaced it the next day although it isnt a lemon-lime. :o

Miles:

One hint for you, rookie. If it ain't got your name on it, keep your stinkin' hands off it! I don't know where you played before, but you don't STEAL another man's Gatorade. Miles is NOT happy. And Miles now understands why The Peter uses the third person ...

I'm not here to step on anyone's toes. If BobbyJfor3 has returned and desires the part back, by all means, go ahead. I just started and you have been playing since the beginning.
