Because I'm sincerely concerned about the emotional and psychological welfare of my fellow Kings fans, especially after the way our team was used to mop the floor of our own Arco Arena last night, I'm thinking about starting a nostalgic trend. After every loss, I'm going to find a win from the glory days that took place on or around the same date, and post the results and a recap. That way, we [hopefully] don't get so collectively depressed around here. (And yes, I understand that I'll have to do this another 40 times this season.)
Especially considering that this is the season that we as Kings fans are going to be taking a trip down memory lane on two separate occasions to retire the jerseys of two of the most important players in our team's history, we might as well embrace the past, because the present is incredibly dreadful.
