It's Got to be Hard

It's kinda weird going into Indiana and thinking, what do we do to shut Peja down. Peja is on my all time Kings team, but as Kings fans we've seen him get shut down plenty of times (ala Rick Fox). I don't think its going to be hard coaching staff to come up with a game plan against Peja after seeing him play for so long, but it's got to at least be weird for them. Now we got to go into Indiana make sure the guy doesn't torch us, which you know he wants to do. So whats the game plan?

Well , Artest is going to be all over peja ....... and make PEJA GO TO THE RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT !!! We all know what happens to peja when defenders make him go to the right ( playoffs is when peja do his whole dissapperance act due to double team and making him go the right ) .

Artest can bother Peja. Quick guys can also bother Peja -- so I think Kevin can maybe spot on him as well. Think he might light up Bonzi as he does well against strength guys whom he can get away from sometimes on the perimeter, so avoid that matchup. And be very careful about switching -- Peja loves to get switched off onto big guys who he can step away from and drain threes on. Might almost prefer to have a late arriving guard/SF scramble at him at the last second than have him be able to size up one of our bigs.

Not overly concerned about it though. Peja will score some points, but not enough to beat us if we play our game.

I am more concerned about Foster having 20+ reboudns and Harrison having a career game. If that happenes - we will not win

We know how to bug Peja's shot. I think Peja should have a subpar game (15-20 points?). The key to the game is the "other guys".

If anything, I'd think it would be easier to guard Peja. We know exactly what his tendencies are, what he can and can't do, we've been watching him for years! I'd be more concerned with how we deal with Stephen Jackson, who can easily light us up for 30 if we're not careful. But as Brick said, we should be fine as long as we play our game.
