Is there any way?...

Even if the Lakers would do that, are we giving up TOO much? I'm not sure. What would our team be left with...pretty much nothing. And if Kobe isn't happy NOW, think of how he'd feel with that roster. The only thing realistic in my eyes would be Artest/Bibby/Kenny Thomas. And I don't know if the Lakers would do that.

your probably right...

Kobe Bryant as a King?...lol it's not gonna happen.

If Kobe becomes a King my days as a Kings fan are immediately over. Not because he was a Laker......but because IMHO he is the absolute poorest example of what a man should be. His name and Colorado will be forever linked....and I will not ever get past that unfortunately.

realistically getting KG is a little below a long shot, which is getting Kobe. Not to mention he just backed out of what he said nationally and Bill Simmons from ESPN said it best:

To properly figure this out, you need to include a couple of variables. First, Kobe has a complete no-trade clause and is too image-conscious to play in a small market. He's not going to Memphis. He's not going to Milwaukee. He's not going to Sacramento. Kobe will want a big market that keeps him in the national limelight. Second, he'd want to play for a team that could contend right away; there's no way he'd agree to shepherd another rebuilding project or youth movement. And third, as much as a mega-deal makes sense with Kobe and Carmelo as the principles, you'd see O.J. move back to Brentwood before you'd see Kobe accept a trade that puts him in Colorado.

Come on, now. Let's keep it real. Kobe to the Kings? Not gonna happen. But if it did, I would be THRILLED, Laker or not. It's all about winning a title for me. He would give us a great nucleus with Miller, Garcia, Williams, Douby and whoever we draft with the 10th pick. We'd have to say good-bye to Bibby, Artest and Martin to do it, though.

Kobe may have a bad image with the Colorado situation, but everyone has baggage. And he's not the only pro athlete that's cheated on his wife. Let's not kid ourselves. It also looks like Dr. Buss should be taking more heat for the Shaq situation than Bryant. Hmmm...

Not sure I see the great nucleus there as the nucleus would = Kobe. Also not at all sure he would ever allow sucha thing, preceisely because nucelus = Kobe is what he's so upset about in the first place. At the very least we would have to be able to hang onto Artest to make it seem superior to his current position. And likely Mike too.
