Injured guys

Peja

Bench
Peja,SAR,Bonzi...I really hope that SAR's injury is the end of this list.We heard that Bonzi will be out for something like 3-4 weeks.And what about Peja and SAR?Peja was back against Portland and then again out last night,why?!And for how long SAR will be off the court?

Bonzi = torn groin = 4 weeks realistically
SAR = broken jaw = 4 weeks
Peja = back? groin? = day-to-day I think

I want Bonzi back...thats a fact...but the others..sure it would be cool if they come back. Before im screaming through the hills i want them back...i want to see what this Unit can do. Maybe this unit will wake mike up and groom him to be the leader maybe he originally wasn't. I am curious to see what this unit can pull of the next couple of weeks. If they have chemistry.....who knows...

Shouldn't that be hopefully? :(

Groin tears are a pain in the backside. It generally takes longer than 4 weeks for people to recover. I know of a sportsman who is not injury prone and has really good recovery powers but he missed 12 weeks with exactly the same injury as Bonzi.

If Bonzi comes back in 4 weeks, its pants down lap around the table time for everyone that is in some way connected to the Kings.

Oh really I thought they were a pain in the groin;) :p

The positives in this situation is we could show off our bench alittle and maybe just maybe, if they do good in the next week or so(hopefully Kenny) we trade a couple of them.

Shareef to have his jaw wired shut, out for six weeks.

I feel for the guy... christ.

Hopefully KT/Skinner/Corliss/Sampson (or someone new) can play solid/consistent or near consistent.

Like I said -- I has mine wired shut and was able to get them to take it of in 4 weeks instead of 6. But then again I had the option of not going out and playing contact sports for a little while until I was comfortable with it, so maybe the 6 weeks is more realistic in this case.

Usually when it comes between 4 or 6 weeks for a Kings injury, it most likely is the longer one.

I can't wait to see Bonzi and Reef out there on the court.

Oh yeah, and Peja too!

Didnt Bobby Jackson have the same problem before...he was on the bench for A WHILE...and eventually got traded. Not saying Bonzi will never recover, but groin pains are hard to deal with.

Bobby Jackson had an abdominal tear. It did NOT lead to him being traded.

Ok sorry for the misleading statement...Bobby Jack did not get traded because he was hurt most of the time.

Not sure, but does this mean we have/need to pick up another player?:

Each team is required to carry 12 players on its active list and one player on its inactive list (which will replace the injured list).

http://www.insidehoops.com/nba-collective-bargaining-agreement.shtml

If so, I suggest one of:

Kedrick Brown(SG/SF)/George Lynch (SF)/Wesley Person (SG)/Erik Daniels (SF)/Tremaine Fowlkes (SF)/Dion Glover (SG)/Felipe Lopez(SG)/Elvin Mims (SG)/Sharrod Ford (SF/PF)/Hiram Fuller (PF)/Derek Hood (PF).

Don't really know much about anyone from our DL team other than Yuta Tabuse (short Japanese PG) and Chucky Hayes (undersized PF from Kentucky).

Rodney White is said to be going back to the Clippers.

Yeah, Peja not on the inactive list, expected to return soon, but that's 11.

Bibby/Hart/Price/Martin/Garcia/Peja/Corliss/KT/Miller/Skinner/Sampson.
