Improvement through free agency

Free Agent Plan A: Sign Darko to a full MLE deal, then take a flier on Yaroslav Korolev with a LLE...Former lotto pick...Who knows what could happen...I think it's worth it given his age and relative lack of cost.

Free Agent Plan B: Try to sign Amir Johnson with about half the MLE, or even a bit more to make Detroit unwilling to match...See if you could snag Andrey Blatche with the other half...If that is a no go, try either Pape Sow from Toronto or Travis Outlaw from Portland.

Mix those with some trade for youth, and you have some nice piece for a rebuild.

i'd rather take a flyer on amir johnson before darko. i believe hes younger and has produced some impressive stats for his time on the floor. maybe offer him more than half of the MLE. does anybody know what the pistons are salary wise? they resigned chauncey billups at 10m/yr.. this should affect their ability to resign amir if he gets aoffer more than what they want to pay

I would like to see Korolev in Sacramento ... he was arguably the best young European player 2-3 years ago ... he is just very young even for his young age .. I watched several games with him in Europe (about 3 years ago) and he was impressive. That's why he was drafted so high. Besides, he can speak English .... I mean really can speak (I think it is an important moment). May be .... may be ... we can give have another chance.
