I'm the first to say I'm okay if we tank this year

Believe me I'm not okay with it, but I think it's best for this Organization I think this team has lost it overall; It's not helping when your bench doesn't do crap for you

I'm not feeling good right now but I think I have given up on this season just like the Kings have.

They need to tank NEXT year to get Oden. I'm not going to advocate tanking the season for Rudy Gay.

With the way there playing what else can you do? trust me I'm not okay with it but I'm not gonna sit around here and pretend everything is okay when it's not.

Bottom line. The team sucks. I am not sure what to do with the mess we call the Kings, but first off the coach needs to go. Second there needs to be an overhaul with the roster starting with getting Peja the hell out of here.

I've been saying we need a top-10 (if not top-5) pick since the Sonics bounced us. Considering the cap situation, it's pretty much the only way we're getting the star power we need.

We should have told Webber to take his time with the knee, tanked 03-04, and gotten Dwight Howard. Oh well. I'm over it.

i think if we had a decent bench we would be good, its's time to trade some players like, corliss, brian, and kenny, and whoever else would get us better...cuz this is crap

yeah, but when its not our bench its our interior D. When its not that its our turnovers. When its not that its our rebounding. This teams has to get unbelievably together offensively, like the team before the trades, to win. And thats just not going to win you any rings in this league.

Tank to get who? And that's not even a guarantee: since the inception of the lottery in 1985, the team with the worst record has only won the #1 draft pick four times (LA Clippers in 1988, New Jersey in 1990, Cleveland in 2003, Orlando in 2004).

Funny: Corliss, Brian, Kenny, Bibby and Bonzi are the ONLY guys on this squad I'd like to keep.

If we're going to give up on this season and not make any trades the least we need to do is fire Adelman since he, under no circumstances, will allow the youngsters to play and develop (Terry Porter anyone?). Play Garcia and Martin...maybe even Sampson and decide if they're worth keeping long term.

i understand brian and corliss but why kenny? bibby and bonzi obviously but thomas?

I agree that we are not a good team (right now), but we are 5 games under .500, in the first quarter of the season, and you want them to tank? How far we have fallen.

75% of the season left and the "Best Fans in the NBA" are conceding the season and quitting......

We keep saying the players have no swagger and need to grow a pair.......what about the fans? C-mon people....

GO KINGS!!!!!

Actually, Thomas as a starting 3 might be a good thing if Peja is gone. If he isn't starting, it doesn't look like he's very effective.

There's plenty of time for tanking. Not like we're so far behind in losses that we'd struggle to make bottom 3. If nothings changed by mid-season, then sure. Trade everybody for draft picks and young talent (like Villanueva and Chris Paul). Play the kids. Get a fundamentals coach like Hubie to babysit.

2010 NBA Champions: The Vegas Kings.

why should the fans give a damn when the team doesn't? at least thru most of the 90's the kings sucked because of a lack of talent. this kings team is loaded with talent, but they just don't have any heart whatsoever outside of bonzi wells. i just can't believe that bonzi is continuously bringing it every night, despite the losses. it amazes me, considering the output of his teammates. he's the only one i actually want to see in a kings uniform next season.

for a fan, the distinction is much easier to make, especially considering we don't get paid millions of dollars a year. i don't think its unfair, as a fan, to expect a little effort from your team. and when they don't put forth any effort whatsoever at home, then i also don't think it's unfair to stop giving a damn. i didn't say i quit on the kings, i just don't really care where this season goes as long as the kings aren't putting forth the effort expected of multi-million dollar talent. i rooted for the kings prior to the vlade/webber era, and i can honestly say i enjoyed watching those teams more, because i knew they sucked, but they tried their best. it was a joyous celebration whenever the kings could eek out a win. now, i see no reason to care, until a change in attitude or a change in personnel occurs.
