Im excited about Omri Casspi

I can only speak for myself, the Casspi pick has me more excited than the Evans pick. I will admit when I found out the Kings picked Evans over Rubio I literally screamed at the television. I have since gotten over that fact and accepted that the Evans pick was best for the team. I however cant wait to see Omri Casspi play in the NBA. I am so excited for the upcoming season and he is the reason. I doubt he will get much playing time this year but in general I have a great feeling about this pick. I hope im right.

Care to explain what it is about Casspi that you're so excited about? I don't mean this in a bad way, I too am excited bout our new players. Just want to know what he's done or that you've seen that has you hyped up

Well I have not seen much . Its just more of a feeling I have. I know it sounds corny but I rarely get feelings about draft picks. Now I could be totally wrong for sure. I have only seen what most others have seen. Some highlight videos. I am aware that the highlight videos are just that. Like I said its more of a feeling as opposed to what I have seen from him. Which is why in my first post I said I hope im right lol.

Casspi might be the bench-warmer Donte Greene of last year with regards to playing time this coming season, or it may even be worse ( not playing at all )

I hope I'm wrong, because I also want to see him get meaningful minutes playing actual games to see what he can really bring to the future of the Kings.

He looks like hes got very good handles for being 6'9. His shot kinda looks like Marions to lol only with a higher release. I'm pumped about this dude too. I hope he gets alot of minutes next season.

But seriously, I think Donte had more airball jumpshots than I had cumulatively seen in my life last season. I very much hope he's been working on his shooting.

Nice, his handles are far more advanced than I thought. His release is really funky but hopefully with repetition it can become reliable.
