idea of trade with Boston

Despite of our necessary of a BIG , I would like trade with Boston for Ray Allen. Something like Martin + Noccioni for Allen.
Allen's contract is expire after this season, and Celtics has no way to resign him even for less. But now ,instead of ageing allstar, they reseives one from more qualified shooters in this league and a real tough gay that could play defence.
In another side we receive very smart player that have not only death shoot from the arc, can pass and play defence, but can be a real mentor for our youngs.

I really dislike all of these ideas that involve trading Martin for cap space. We dont have a realistic need for all of this proposed cap space.

Agreed. If we are trading for cap space lets get rid of a player that does not have much value to this team...Nocioni. Martin has been the face of this team the past few years and is an elite scorer in this league. Sure he may not fit right now but if we are going to trade away a star (one of the only two we have) we better be getting a star in return. We can make trades for cap space and not give up our SECOND best player.

are you kidding me? ray allens 34 and does nothing for this team. Although i would like to help boston so they can beat the lakers, this trade is not happening in any world.
I thought it was pretty clear to every fan that if we trade martin we are getting back a starting big man.. guess not
