I get all the love for Kayte but still relatively new as Kings sideline person and sometimes shows a bit. One thing she should clean up is chumminess in dealing with, reporting on NBA opposing players. For example, last game she repeatedly identified in her live moments Blake Griffin as "Blake" and DeAndre Jordan as "DeAndre", like they were couple cool neighbors or partying with friends. Calling Rajon Rondo by his first name is great or DeMarcus Cousins as Big Cuz perfect but opposition are not created equally, IMO. It doesn't mean being rude, slighting other team in anyway, just making it clear they are NOT BEST FRIENDS - ESPECIALLY FRICKING CLIPPERS! Kobe, yeah we get it but his name NBA ingrained institution. Others like Blake Griffin don't deserve, should not get first name love, constant gaga treatment.

Kayte uses first names for a lot of players. There's nothing wrong with it and it actually is part of her charm and style. She makes it more personal and I, for one, have no problem whatsoever with it.
