I know this couldnt really happen, at least because we just got Dalambert, but I really think it's interesting how the salaries and the needs kinda match up.

3 team deal:

Sacramento sends Dalambert to Washington and Recieves Chris Paul from the Hornets.

Washington sends Arenas to the Hornets.

- Im not sold on Dalambert anyway, and I love Reke, but I'm convinced he'd be a better SG. Also, how insane would it be to have two penetrating threats in your backcourt?

- Reports also state that Washington needs big men, and Arenas is a surplus commodity there, and Paul isnt happy in N.O. anymore (or is that just speculation still?)

- Anyway, just wanted to know your thoughts on this...

Not very ... seeing as teams would just zone us up all the time and always clog the lane. Oh wait I forgot, we have Spencer to shoot 3s for us. Oh wait no we don't. Ok Sammy D will have to do that then. I've also never known CP3 to be regarded as excellent in penetrating ...

1. Paul is not asking out of NOLA.

2. NOLA isn't interested in trading Paul.

3. Even if they were (which they aren't), getting Arenas doesn't help their talent or financial situation, so there's no point in even doing this deal.

I think this is a trade that actually hurts all three teams. NO is better off with Paul than Arenas. Dalembert may help Washington for a season before he tries to sign with a better team. And as much as I like Paul, he and Tyreke play the same position - PG. I don't think their games would compliment one another, but would actually cause one or both not to be able to play to his potential.
