How will Theus use the bench?

I wonder how Reggie will utilize his bench one both Bibby and Martin come back in a couple months? Will he play 9 players...10...or just 8 like Adelman?
-------starters:
Martin
Bibby
Miller
Moore
Artest
--------bench:
Salmons
Beno
Garcia

Does he still give minutes to Hawes and Douby...and how many? That would make 10 guys...anyone know what happened to Williams and why he's continually getting DNP-CD's like he been getting? He's turned into the new 'Missing Link'.

he will bring salmons, cisco, beno, spencer and probably KT (i hate to say it) off the bench

he could very well play 10 guys imo

I don't know how Theus will utilize the bench but this is how I would do it:

Starters
--------
PG-Bibby
SG-Martin
SF-Salmons
PF-Artest
C -Miller
--------

Bench
--------
Beno
Douby
Garcia
Williams/Hawes
Moore
--------

Well I think when Bibby comes back from injury their will be a period of him coming off the bench. Heck, even LeBron came off the bench for the Calvs. This actually might reveal something about whether it will be a good idea to bring Bibby off the bench. Udrih will have the most experience with this squad and they are used to him leading the offense. Meanwhile, Bibby could come off the bench and get all the shots he could want while Artest and Martin rest. This also bring in the possibility of playing Bibby and Udrih ala Jackson/Bibby back in the day.

Lebron came off the bench ONCE and he said publicly it would be the ONLY time. This idea of bringing tenured starters off the bench is something you only see on message boards. The slot is Bibby's - he's not going to come off the bench.

To be fair, Duncan came off the bench for a few games (IIRC) as well coming back from injury - but I think Bibby will probably start immediately once he is healthy enough to play. At the most, maybe one game off the bench.

It's funny how quickly people forget how much of a baller Bibby is. He had one bad season where he stubbornly played through an injury. When Bibby is back, there will be a lot of people eating their words.

Hopefully he can get his shooting touch back from 2/3 years ago, he shot awful last season...gotta get that trade value back up again!:D

What I think is funny is how people pretend that Bibby is a great point guard; Bibby is an average point guard who built his reputation on the strength of one postseason. His shooting has been bad his entire career, save for one season; take out the one year where he shot .470, and we're talking about a player whose career percentage is .439... His career assist-to-turnover ratio is close to below average for a starting point guard. Frankly, he hasn't really had what I would qualitatively consider a good season when he wasn't playing alongside Chris Webber.

sorry, stopped reading after that.

Now how many games has Bibby won for us at the buzzer?..

You are correct on this one VF...Chuck Person was interviewed last week on 1140 and they were talking about Bibby. Person said that Bibby will start immediately when he is back from injury. He made it a point that the best players on the team need to start, and that Bibby is the best pg on the team, therefore he will start. He said that Beno will still get his minutes, but that he will be coming in off the bench.
