How Many Freaking Times Will We See This Team Fall Apart ? Pathetic

Webber and Miller get pushed under the basket and Bibby, Mobley and Peja are trying to fast break with out the ball. Sweet!
My other favorite is...
our guards get broke down, big men rotate (kind of) and back side is open for the put back.
But my all time favorite...
Is when the Kings just wait for the ball to come to them. But because of no hustle and little desire the other team gets to the ball before it gets to us.

No rebounds No rings!

And nothing has happened.

i agree. this isn't the time to shrug things off, but to tighten ship. these problems arent going to fix themselves. i'm not suggesting a trade. i'm more in favor of adelman lighting a fire under a**es we already have on this team.

thanks kingsfans.com for letting me let some steam out

I understand.. While I didn't go as crazy as you :) The Miami game had the same effect on me.

Time to jump back on the Wagon and get ready for the next crazy game. You know that tomorrows game is gonna be nutty.

I don't know if it's just me, but compared to years past this team is much better at the end of games than they use to be. How many game winners has Webber and Bibby had? What about that come back on the Knicks? They biffed here, but the problem to me is the roster makeup and philosophy. Stop trying to win a game of HORSE and try to win a game of basketball.

LOL, KIngs loose 3 in a row and the sky is falling. After a few yars there are a few things I have learned about being a Kings fan. First be gratefull. I remeber when a 20 win season was a goal. Second, this team will go on wining streaks, and yes they will have looseing streaks. Third and most important this years Kings team is much improved at closing out games than the teams of the past 4 seasons.

They must strat doing the same against the better Teams or post season success will be little.

"the kings just got screwed by the refs"

GREAT post. Thank you. I came on the board knowing that there would be the "sky is falling" thread, the "Mobley is selfish" line of talk, and I'm assuming something will pop up about trading Webber sooner or later. It's a disappointing loss, and I understand the need to blow off steam after the last 2 games. BUT it's just a regular season game!

I also remember hoping for 20 wins, and I think that we (as fans) are spoiled now. I love watching the Kings, and enjoy the season up till the last second of the last playoff game. YES, I want a championship more than anything, but to me even if we never win a championship, it will not take away from how great this team is, and has been for the last several years. If you had told me 10 years ago that our team would consistently be a championship contender I would have been jumping up and down with joy.

Despite our record against the "good" teams, I have complete confidence that the playoffs will be a different story, especially if we can all be healthy.

So, yeah, I'm disappointed at tonight's loss, but I don't really get disgusted at the team. They are working their butts off, and they (IMHO) deserve our respect and support even on the off nights.

I actually did the same exact thing D, i mean why do they find it so hard to keep the ball without turning it over in the last few mins. I mean if you look at the game, that was the turning point, mobley made a bad pass=a. daniels dunk=crowd pumped up. 2nd came webber's behind the backer....why???why???why???
That led to the three point play on the other end by lewis, the game, IMO was over at that point, sonics had too much going for them, and the crowd was so pumped...god i almost couldn't stand to watch it. I seriously just couldn't understand what was so hard about keeping the ball...mobley's i could kinda understand, but why a behind the back?Just frustrating...i know that rebounding was a big part, especially letting the rook collison get every one, but i think our recklessness with the ball cost us the game.

Really so mad, thought that we would go into seatle heated about the suns game, and we did play well...those last few mins just screwed us.

very disappointing.

Today is a New Day ....

Don't lose hope or faith ....

It all comes to being patient .... as Adelman has said MANY-MANY times.

To put things in perspective, #1, 2 and 3 seeds are pretty much established, just don't know what order. Kings are in #5 with Dallas up in #4. Can we climb, achieve and maintain #4 .... that's up to the King's.

Remember it's 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5

Assuming San Anton will be #1, Phoenix #2 and Seattle #3

Houston, Memphis and Lakers are 6, 7 and 8 (respectively). BTW - Houston and Memphis are only 2 games back of the #5 spot.

We still got a LONG WAYS TO GO ...

but, our King's need to HELP THEMSELVES !!!

Each games DOES matter ... especially tonite

bring back Dennis Rodman out of retirement, and play him 48 minutes a night..i think thats our last resort

hell, hes 50 years old but he'll still do better then what we got right now
I would agree with Bringing in Rodman, He may be 43 or 44 now but he probably still bring in a consistant 15 boards a night, plus he is anything but soft.....

He's under contract with ...

I absolutely love this part of your post, love_them_kings. It fits the way I think and feel,,,,,,PERFECTLY!! And, I have highlighted the "nutshell" portion for me as a Kings fan. Great job!!

watching last night's game was...arrhhgg....no matter what we did on offense was nothing because Seattle will find a way to score on the other end...just try and watch that 4th quarter especially the last 2 minutes...we never had a defensive stop....never! Kings were like just hoping the Sonics will miss and hope they get the rebound...but NO!...Sonics still got that rebound!!! Kings don't have defense...i mean offensively Kings were ok last night but we couldn't just make that defensive effort on the other end....

i wanted to think of a lot of trades to be done..but we couldn't get enough talent with what we have with the Kings...unless they blow-up the team apart and rebuild.... maybe a coaching change but i doubt it...

i'm tired of hoping....i'll expect the worst so i won't have to feel that much pain....so tonight unless something good happens like a W against Dallas..i'm expecting a 4th straight loss!

kind of makes me feel numb when we get eliminated in the playoffs...

rexb i wouldn't get so negative just yet it's not like were down 3-0 in a playoff series (although we saw 1 won last year in baseball), it's still really the middle of the regular season and we've be scarred with injuries.

I am getting to the point where I just want to Tivo the game, wait until it is over, look and the internet and see if they won, if they did win go back and watch the game. I think I am going to have a heart attack if I have to watch them blow any more games in the last 2 minutes.

Part of the beauty of the NBA is that games usually come down to the wire unless it is a blow-out. If a team is down by 12 points with two minutes left, they can still come back and win. It just seems like too often lately the Kings continue to give themselves the short end of the stick.

Very Frustrating........

I didn't tell you to calm down....I told you to find a really tall building and jump, just for the record.

That wasn't nice. Uncalled for. Sometimes just because a guy vents and wants to see his team win, unecessary comments are made against his/her character. I respect you Kingsgurl, but knowing how many poor people DO commit suicide for reals and this comment is really immature.

very good post - they have performed ewll in crunch time thats not the issue....they;ve just deviated from the toughness they were showing since the new year began and started playing just offense

On an interesting note, Webb almost collected his 3rd straight triple double. Also, Cat is pretty selfish.

Call him selfish all you want. I thought he did a pretty good job sharing the ball with the bottom of the net!!! That's good enough for me. :)

Alright everyone has had their turn venting, that's good. Now back to the future. The Kings are stumbling right now and we don't understand why they can't do this or why can't they do that. Only they can figure that out, as fans we see what needs to be done and If one of us were able to go out there and tell every king player what needs to be done (see the name Rick Alderman) would they listen...(Hell, they don;t even listen to the coach).

Frankly it's call DETERMINATION, I don't think many(yes some do) Kings players have it or they would be a better team

I guess for me, I'm tired of excuses...I just want to see the results. Everyone talks a lot on the Kings, but there's nothing past a second round effort since that game 7 loss. I think it's time to put up or shut up. I think as individuals they've been playing well, but I haven't seen a lot of Kings basketball recently. I know...it's a different team, but the skills are comparable. I'm disappointed in this loss, but it's becoming a trend. I may be way off-base and there's still A LOT of basketball to be played...but I'm concerned...
