I remember when they were the Cincinnati Royals ...

I was a Jerry Lucas and Oscar Robertson fan - way back then.

Didn't really follow them when they moved to KC

Got back on board when they moved to Sacramento ....

But to be honest .... King's were my 2nd favorite team when they came to Sacramento .... Warriors were #1 until I moved up to Folsom in 1995.

since they drafted jwill.... white boy could ball.... before that i was a clipper fan, still am.... thats the home team.

Since 1985. They arrived in Sacramento just around the same time that I was starting to pay serious attention to all sports. Thank god, too, or I just might be a Warriors fan right now.

Since 99. when Kings got JWill and was running along side VCarter for the rookie of the year award. Was hoping he'll get it but VC was just plain awesome with those crazy dunks he pulled-out. Was a jazz fan back then and figured JWill and CWebb could be the next Stockton/Malone.

When did the Kings beat Seattle in a playoff game. Mitch was still here. That may have been my first year.

When did the Rams leave Los Angeles? That may have been my first year.

Note: It would be really interesting if this was a public poll, so we could see people's answers.

;)

I've been a fan of the Sacramento Kings since they came to Sacramento. Technically I became a fan the day the acquisition of the team was announced. I voted the 17+.

Is there an option for a public poll?? Darn, if I'd known I would of used it.

I've been a fan since January 1999. Saw their first exhibition game and was immediately hooked!

For those who didn't know it was there, when you create a poll look for the line that says "Make this a public poll" and check the box. That way everyone's vote is shown when you click on the number of votes in the poll.

:)

Well, I was 4 when they moved here, so I didn't really know what was going on.

I voted 13-16 years, but I probably should've voted 17+ years now that I think about it...because I clearly remember going to games around 1988...which was 18 years ago (wow). Oh well, a long time, anyway.

I was the biggest Spud Webb fan you've ever seen.

I moved to Sacramento from the Washington, D.C. area the same day that Chris Webber was traded here from the Bullets. I became an instant Kings fan that day.

11 years and goin' strong, baby! went to my first kings game when i was 8 years old. my pops took me. been a fan of the game and the kings ever since.

I voted 17+ which I think is impressive since I am only 24. I was born in 1981, and I used to follow the team in the Modesto Bee when I was 5 and learning to read.

Kings were always easy to find in the standings because their name was bolded and ALWAYS on the bottom.

I have been a diehard since I can remember- I even had a scrapbook of the 88-89 season where I cut out all the articles

GO KINGS!!!

I've been a Kings fan since we got the team here. I was taken to several Kings games in the early years as well.

Side note: I delivered a pizza several years ago to Frank McCormack, one of the guys that helped bring the Kings here. He even invited me in for a while and gave me his book. Never Lose. Kinda neat read for anyone interested in the start of the Kings here in Sacramento. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/09...11-1/ref=sr_11_1/102-3085413-4143321?n=283155

I really started to be a Kings fan during their first playoff run in 96. Tyus Edney was my favorite player, I remember when they beat Seattle in game 2, and came home for the first playoff game ever at Arco. That was pretty awesome.

just barely 9 years, since a game I went to in 97 against Charlotte Hornets, who then had Vlade and Anthony Mason. Had great seats (about 20 rows back), Arco was only abot 2/3 full that night, but made lots of noise, and they won.
