How does Skinner compare against West Centers

Ok it looks like Skinner is out center for the rest of the regular season at least. So here is how he compares (as a starter with the kings) to the top centers in the WEST. I think alot of you will be suprised.

#2 Yao Ming

#3 is Brad
15.6pts 9.3 reb 3.9 ast 1.2 blks 52.4 fg%

#4 Mehemet Okur
12.3pts 7.1 reb 1.8ast 0.8 blks 46.2 fg%

Now with those being the top 5 centers in the west as far as stats go and they are all starters. Where would you rank Skinner in the West. you see what his numbers are AS A STARTER with the Kings.

very true, but those stats still are very good...if he can be anywhere near those, il be happy...and we'll have a chance when the PO roll around, at least imho

He has started 6 games. I am not saying he will continue. But i don't think it will deviate from that to much. Its not like he had 1 monster game to pad his stats. All the games were pretty much equal. In fact his last game he only played 26 min and got 14pts 9reb 1ast and 4 blks.

he has done well. although he has only played a handful of games for the kings he is performing really consistantly especially with the block shots

The underlying fact to those stats lines is that after Amare Brad and Yao. The West centers are average at best. Lets see how Skinner does today against Yao and that should tell us all we need to know of how he matches up against the rest.

I think Skinner is our light version of Ben Wallace. If he can be as productive defensely as Ben then I think we can win it all. Of course that is not the case but one can dream though

ur right there. peja needs to start scoring and scoring big in the upcoming games to help the team because at this point in time he isnt helping the team
