Im sorry but there's a reason why time and time again opponents guards destroy us and have a career nights .... There's 1 million point guard that can score.... I think it's time this team finds somebody who's a little more balanced .... He is one of the most atrocious defenders I have ever seen ...

I know this is a knee jerk thread, dc has been fine for what's been asked.

Like I've said before, he's overqualified to be a backup for Rondos 35+min, but can't really play next to him.

If there's a trade where we can downgrade the backup point and upgrade a swing man, it needs to happen.

Utah looks like a fit.

You won't find many better back up PG's in the league....when DC is forced to start, you see what happens. He wasn't this bad last season when starting but different schemes and all, you know how that goes. He now has been turned into a ball stopper and chuck master, which is fine and all coming off the bench. I'd only trade him for another solid big.

Sorry, but you're way off on this one. DC did a good job tonight. We lost a game in DOUBLE O/T partially (ironically enough) because DC was hit on the elbow without the officials bothering to notice, resulting in an airball and a shotclock violation. Had that not happened, the Kings would have won.

You know you shouldn't post when you're upset about a Kings game. ;)

like someone else pointed out on here the video doesn't show an obvious foul or any foul on the last air ball by DC... if you go back and watch it again you will see that after it he walks away sheepishly knowing he epic failed at life.

What are you realistically going to get for Collison anyways?

He doesn't make much money, which is nice, but it also means you have to take back a similar amount. No one is going to give up a good prospect on a rookie deal for him. Any veteran you get back is probably not a game changer either as not enough loot is being transferred.

He's also insurance if Rondo does not resign.

Deal him in the off season if Rondo stays.

I agree with the OP, Collison has been beyond frustrating. Can't defend and his decision making.....aaauuurrrgh! He has been a major liability lately. I have actually yelled at the TV for Karl to yank him before he gives the game away. It happened again last night. Ugh.

I also agree however with LP; it would be a risk to trade him now unless we get another point guard back. Collison CAN play well when his head is screwed on right.

We need a defensive wing. I still like Mo Harkless. He has underperformed though.

The problem is we have nobody to offer in trade without leaving a big hole in the roster. I would have considered offering Acy but lately he has one our best defensive assets.

We're stuck but I am encouraged by Karl's apparent newfound emphasis on defense. I think our boys will get better defensively as the season progresses; Karl's stupid defensive switching schemes notwithstanding.

It's not the switching schemes that's the problem, it's who is on the floor doing the switching. I can't tell you how many times I've seen Gay and Ben guarding the same player after a switch. Or, how many times I see Collison trying to guard someone 5 to 8 inches taller than him. If you have a player like Tryeke Evans in there instead of Collison, then you don't have that great a mismatch.
