COMMENTARY | Riding an eight-game winning streak, the Houston Rockets held on to both Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik through the NBA trade deadline. Houston made one minor move, sending third-string point guard Aaron Brooks to the Denver Nuggets for Jordan Hamilton. Houston had no problem parting with Brooks, who had fallen out of the rotation after Patrick Beverley returned from last month injury. With Brooks out of the equation, rookie Isiah Canaan is now Houston's third-string point guard, which means he's an injury away from being a rotational guy for the Rockets.
