I am on "working vacation" so I will try to be brief;).

Still very upset about loss on Thursday. Our "girls" left effort, pride and heart at home (except Bobby). A win tonight will not change anything. The issues will still be there. NO it the worst team around. Anything but an easy win would be... Effort will be better simply because it can not be worse.

I expect all of the player tonight to show that they deserve to wear Kings jersey. Does not matter who does what and how big we win. I want to see a good TEAM game.

It's obvious the Kings overlooked LA and thought they could just show up and win thursday. It will be interesting to see if they come out focused tonight against another percieved weak opponent. If I see serious effort which will be tough against such a weak opponent, I'll be happy.

I would be rather see a serious effort against teams above .500.

this is great... tag is getting minutes and peja is getting rest..... no webber and we're winning.... maybe even martin will get some serious minutes.....

well rem who we are playing here -- EVERYBODY beats this team. Some college teams could probably beat this team.

Tag doing a nice job of arguing for more PT though. He's really our only hope to make a difference on defense barring a pickup or trade. But where do the minutes come from when Webb is healthy? In order to really use him, you might have to knock Darius right out of the rotation.

Im not sure that giving Tag minuets over Darius is a bad idea. I like D Song's game, but Tag is bringing it to the opositon. Besides after 15-20 min of Tag time he will probalby foul out each game.

And you guys thought I was nuts when I said post up Otag. He made some good passes out of the post position! The most important part of posting up is not always the post player scoring, it really opens things up for others.

Also remember I said give Tag four more minutes a game, and put him in for a change in defensive paint. I don't expect him to pay 35 min a game.

well i dont see how that affects darius, if tag is backing up miller.... but yeah he needs more minutes.... we should let darius back up peja for a couple of minutes, depending on the match up.

Did Chris even make an appearance tonight? Usually if he's getting work done(in the back) during the game, He'll show up behind the bench at some point. I didn't see him once tonight.

I think the more natural fit would be Tag coming in as the third big man, and then Miller swinging over to play PF for those stretches. Darius getting a few spot minutes here and there. But Darius at SF is just kind of a bad fit except against certain matchups.

I don't know he did a pretty good job last season when he backed up Peja.

Tonightg Brad was more productive with Tag on court than with out. Of course this is to be expected at some leve since he is more moble to get his shot and had an even bigger body out there to box out FOR him, but still the Tag over Darius concept seems good.

Tag is playing back-up for Miller, meaning he comes in usually when Miller is on the bench getting a bit of rest OR when the play on the court dictates the need for more shot-blocking.

If you send Miller to PF when Tag is in, just when would Miller rest?

Of course! Brad played PF for a good part of last season, so it's not like he cant play the position. With Darius playing well also, it gives us 3 good bigs when we need to rest CWebb. This may be crucial to keeping CWebb in good enough shape come playoff time.

Asuming no "special needs" situation existes the natural rotation COULD be: rest Brad... enter Tag, Then bring in Brad to rest Webber. In situations were shot blocking is needed or when Brad is unable to fill the paint up enough, Bring in Tag for longer moments, but use him to spell Webber at PF. Sorry Darius, love your paly but the big fella i winnning my respect and my heart.

I have every faith that RA will find a way to utilize all our big men. They each bring something different to the mix, and there will be times when we need Tag more than Darius OR Darius more than Tag, IMHO. Thank the basketball fates that we have both of them!!!

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

Ostertag getting more minutes would mean standard 3-man rotation.

Player A and B start
Placer C comes in for player B, so its A and C.
Then player B comes in for A, so its B and C.
Then player A returns for C, and its back to A and B.

Rinse. Repeat.

Same thing we used to do with Pollard. Same thing we currently do with BJax. it would be unfortunate for Darius to get squeezed, but this team's lack of interior presence is so acute that there may not be a choice, and Darius can't block a shot to save his life.
