Hmm...

WITHOUT A DOUGHT,we can do this.Just think, Bibby only had 3 pts.tonight...3pts!,and we only lost by 5.Bibby WILL NOT have another game like this, hes most likely still practicing right now.

Uh yeah. They play 7 game series for a reason. Kings 4th quarter rally spoke volumes about their potential in the rest of the games.

Of course. This game really didn't prove much. Just a feeling out game. But by winning it the Sonics put the pressure onto us, and now its going to be a true playoff war to pull it out. Their confidence will be up, they've gotten a taste of the playoffs and victory, and even if get the split in Seattle on Tuesday night, its still hard to see us running the table and sweeping the next 4 games now. So we're talking 6 or the dreaded 7 to get it done. Hang onto your hats.

..i need your opinions on this...

Why?

As far as wondering how the Sonics ... or the Kings ... are going to do, that's pretty universal. No one actually knows. That's why they make them play the games.

;)

Well the Kings will need to get game 2, otherwise they could be in big trouble as I expect us to get 1 or two from arco no matter what happens on tuesday. Should be interesting.

Of course we can still win it. Even considering we lost, I cam out of the game more confident than before we played. Consider that this was the first game where all of our players were available since BEFORE CHRISTMAS, Bibby had the worst game I have EVER seen him play (I followed him in college), his backups were not any better, Miller played 7-8 minutes, we were down by 21 on their court at one point, AND WE ONLY LOST BY 5!!! Don't worry the sky is not falling. We have a LOT of work to do. That is for sure, but I am confident in the coaching staff and players. The adjustments made after half time were working. Bibby and Bobby WILL play better. Miller and Tag will get more minutes. Peja has begun to shake off his playoff problems. We have a few days to work things out. Thank goodness for U2!! Of course we can still win. Remember - KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE!! What I took from the game - WE DIDN'T QUIT when it would have been easy to do so. It seems they found the heart I feared had left. Mix that Bibby's shot returning and we will win.

And I always used to expect a pony for Christmas.

I think the Kings will be fine. No way Bibby and Jackson go virtually scoreless between them again. The fourth quarter comeback was nice, andwe almost won in the end. To still have a chance to win that game after being down 21 in the third is something to at least not make me have a crappy Sunday. I'm gonna smoke some ribs. Go Kings!

i agree...bobby and bibby will be back..and it was so refreshing to see miller in there...and tag stepped it up...if we can come back from 21 down while bibby and bobby are having bad games id say thats pretty good..

i honestly dont believe that seattle can take 1 in sacramento, but thats me

Yeah.. i agree. considering the return of all the injured players... our house is gonna be REALLY REALLY loud! Plus we're one of the best teams at home...

If we can steal one of the first two games at the Key, then we can easily win 2 at Arco. By then it is already 3-1 Kings. Then we just have to steal one more.

This first game was tough from the standpoint that we were still getting to know one another, with Brad back and Bobby back for only the second game, and add Peja and Bibby to the mix, and that is the first time we've had our whole 'new' team healthy. I actually thought we might drop the first one and take the second one. I still think we will win the next 4 games, believe it or not. I think that the next game will be something like a 104-93 Kings win...but hey, I could be wrong, its just a feeling.

i hope your're right

Your Kidding right? Someone inform the thread starter that that was only GAME 1.

Hell yeah we're in it bro. Faith.

Game 2 is not a must win but...It would be nice :) You always want to take 1 of the first 2 games so if we split then its even STEVEN and the battle starts over.

I expect Bibby to be back more then Bobby. Bobby is obviously gonna have some rust and rough games.

game 2 is INDEED a must win. i dont want this thing to go to 7 games. we're 0 and 5,000 in deciding 7th games. to be a championship contender we are gonna have to get it done on the road

On the other hand Seattle NEEDS game 2 even more. They can't lose home court.

fat chance.

you might have won there in the regular season ( so did dallas last year) and we all know what happened in the playoffs.

We had the 3rd best record in the NBA this season even after losing quite a few road games near the end because of injures. We are just as good on the road If not better than we are at home. We can win anywhere. Lets just say I feel more confident about using winning a game in sacramento than I do about the Kings winning at the key arena.
