Alright, so I decided to go ahead and give all our high school football teams a single thread. We can all duke it out right here, Pacers vs. Thundering Herd, Bulldogs vs. Nighthawks! Lets all pour our respective school colored blood into this board!

As for me: I'm a Pacer, baby! GO MIGHTY PACERS!!!! Grant High School, class of 2001. Defending open division state champions. Get it right son, come see us on the field!

Tonight the big deal for me is Grant vs. Bellevue (in the state of Washington). Hopefully we can represent Sac and California with a smack down.

Feel free to jump right on in with whatever news, schedules etc... you find necessary.

I am always interested to hear how Jesuit is doing (1992).

If one thing sucks about living in Portland it is that we don't have a local pro team, our biggest school in town is Portland State (but most people are Ducks fans and I prefer a more pro style offense) and it just doesn't feel right for a 35 year old man to show up at a high school football game not involving his alma mater or his child, and I'll be pushing 50 by the time my boy is ready to take the field.

I have heard good things about them in the past. But 2 blowout losses to open their last 2 seasons against St. Mary's (which is ranked #2 in the region behind Grant), can't help their psyche.

Of interest is the upset of Nevada Union by Rocklin High School (41 - 36). Being a Grant Alumni, I love it. And the solid performance by Jesuit. Good to see them retain their spirits after a rocky start to the season.

Grant beats Bellevue 14-0!!! Hahahahaha. I'm going to quickly become the dude you guys are going to love to hate with all of this Grant love.

Not a local...going down for my homecoming game in 2 weeks. About 100 or so, maybe more by gametime, of us alumni are going...thanks to facebook. Looking forward to meeting up with old friends!

Now returning to local games...
