Hee Haw great dies

I'm sad about it, but I have to admit that it was a fine way for him to go out-- dying in his sleep the night after performing at the Crystal Palace (which I thought he stopped playing at due to poor health).

Buck was probably my favorite country artist to see live. He could put on a hell of a show. I wouldn't be surprised if he and his backing band could play at least a hundred songs at the drop of a hat. During song requests, some people would shout out his more obscure stuff. Buck would turn to the band, announce the song, and count it down. And he and the band would nail it every time. Those were good times.
