Oh please, dumb poll.

Rock bottom is no team in Sac and no team for us to talk about.

Just a little freakin common sense tells you it can get worse. Cuz blows out his knee. Reke traded and get little in return. Fire Smart and get an even worse coach. And on and on.

Have we hit our bottom? I hope so.
But last year Jordan's Bobcats set the bar so low that there may never be a worse team.
Much is wrong with this team right now and it may no get much better anytime soon. But are we epic bad? no... just Hodge-podge line up put together on the uber-cheap by owners as stable a Twinkie Factory who have are taking another flyer on a young inexperienced coach because they can't get a quality experienced coach and realized old wash outs were not going to cut it. So if this team is going o get better the kids will either have o do it on their own or, Smart will have to figure it out for him self and turn the ship around.

I put "things will get worse", as in Reke and Cousins jumping ship, not that I blame them. The Magoofs have turned this franchise into a turd.

Im leaning more towards an ordinary streak of poor play than the idea of the wheels coming off. The season is only 10 games old. The team needs to make sure it doesnt get in too deep of a hole during this slump. The owners are broke, our coach sucks, we could really use another outside shooter.

We've lost 4 in a row, ok not what you want, but not the end of the world in the grand scheme of things, and we've already got a "players only meeting" where "things were laid on the table" and "a few home truths were said"

clearly things bubble under the surface with this team i don't think it's a stretch to say that, it just appears to all doom and gloom with some players if they've not scored 30. Unless you're a superstar it aint gonna happen every night, get your head up and help the team win.

right now we're in the subterranean caverns and eventually we'll reach the grounds where we can find the fossil record for archeopteryx

I honestly think we've been rock bottom for a while now. I get that we aren't historically terrible, but you don't get much worse than last place in the league (which we accomplished one year) and perennial losers.

Guess I should remind everyone again, rock bottom is no team in Sac, no kingsfans, and nothing for us to talk about Sac related.

This season has been atrocious, but even the play can get worse. Imagine Cuz blowing out a knee, Reke traded for little value, player bickering going public, fire Smart and promote then extend another worthless assistant, etc...., and yet, we'd still have a team here to talk about.

I get your optimism, but I can also understand how many can consider this rock bottom. That's like telling a person who has hit rock bottom (losing job, drugs, what have you), "at least you still have arms, it can always be worse."

Everything can always be worse, but right now, the Kings are rock bottom.

Good grief, dude. Are you seriously putting those things out there in public? Have you no fear of karma?????

nah. i think, with respect to the evaluation of a season-in-whole on the court, rock bottom is where the kings could be headed. they've been bad the last few seasons, but they're nearing worst-in-the-league levels of futility. for every positive we might glean from each individual game, there are still more losses to tip the scales. it sucks, and there appears to be very little urgency from ownership and management. right or wrong, the lakers canned their head coach just a handful of games into the season, because they don't play for tomorrow. they play for championships. clearly the kings aren't playing for the same, but, player meeting aside, i perceive very little urgency within this organization to start winning anytime soon. everything seems so defeatist and resigned. i mean, we haven't heard a meaningful word from geoff petrie since the season started!!

The only way it can get worse is if the Maloofs are allowed to escape with our team after ruining the franchise and chasing away much of the leagues most ardent fanbase... on the floor, we've been terrible for quite some time, this bottom has been going on over half a decade now

Another tough loss today but nevertheless i am still not giving up on our Kings! I will be there on Wednesday game vs the lakers & Saturdays game vs the jazz showing them my support 100% as a loyal fan!

worst attendence in the league. We have hit rock bottom in that sense. The maloofs are winning this statistic which im sure they'll yell from the rooftops when their next bid to move the team comes

This is definetely a theme that deserves a thread, how our horrible attendance is going to impact a future bid by the Maloofs to relocate. You just hope the NBA/other owners understand that there is no fanbase in the league that can withstand 6 years of crap.. not Portland, or any other quality fanbase. I believe that the powers that be will hold the Maloofs accountable, and not the city of Sacramento for the attendance figures in the end, properly
