we've come a long way since the TRS 80's- commonly known as trash 80s.
and the Commodore 64 Pet that was the first computer in my home when I was little.

You can go back even further, actually. My first computer was a keyboard for a Bally game system. I had it and an Atari 400. Used to manually enter game programs in using BASIC. Lines and lines and lines of code, often taken from monthly computer magazines. You'd spend hours typing in the code, test it and the program wouldn't work. You'd have to wait about two months to find out there was a typo on one of the lines...

Got a Vic-20 back in the day, too.
