GS/Sac trade possibility (split from Webber thread)

I seriously think it would be the best trade for both teams. take a look tell me what you think.

I came up with this possible trade, for it to work Barnes would have to agree to come back to sacramento because he is a one year bird player, I dont see that as a problem.

We get BD who has 1 year left on his contract, Barnes who is expiring and our powerforward of the future in Brandan Wright.

Just an idea, its better then most of the trades I see from fans wanting Artest and Bibby. What do you all think?

Yes they downgrade at PG but Ellis can play the point more this way which is a better position for his size.

I dont see golden state doing it, they are playing good bball. adding webber with his passing will help. i dont see them making any trades at all.

Plus Bib knows how to play with webb so the chemistry is already there. It would be nice to get our hands on B.Wright but like most of you said I can't see them giving B Diddy up hes too valuable, maybe we could just take bibby right out and it would look like this.

Baron Davis was godlike playing against me in fantasy last week, particularly with his stealing ability; that said, I think it's safe to say he's untouchable.

I dont think there is any way that goes down, Baron is the man in Oakland right now, Bibby and Artest arent even that hot here in Sac.

I just think things are doing too well for them, they want to add a piece, maybe make a small trade, but i dont think they are looking for any drastic trades.

Baron is untouchable now (unfortunately). Ironically we could have probably had him a couple of years back. No longer. He is the straw. Might as well propose a trade for Kobe.

Maybe we could even squeeze a pick out of them with that deal. I meens its obvious they want to win(webber signing) now and they have a better chance with ron then those two players. It seems like a solid possibility.?

seems to me that Artest for a PF of the future is more than can be reasonably hoped for never mind Barnes' expiring or conning them into throwing in another pick. I would love to see something like that happen but don't hold out a lot of hope.

Well to make the trade work Barnes' contract has to be in the deal because Wright is still on his small rookie contract.
As for GS' opinion on Wright this year, they have only played him 15 games and his season high for minutes is 17 and that was garbage time in a blowout game...

so as of right now B.Wright has alot less value then ron ron would for that team(ron would make them a contender).. and B Wright has more value to us then Ron Ron does.(help us rebuild on the fly..insert Salmons as Starter & more minutes for Garcia)

This trade also makes our draft alot easier because we can aim for a pg with the 1st pick and a PF/C with our second rounder .. Instead of deciding on a PF VS. a PG with our 1st pick.
If they wouldnt give us the pick I would still accept the trade.

I actually think this is a great trade and both sides would seriously consider it..if only i could contact geoff petrie too see if he was on the same page...

They are not going to trade Brandan Wright..Nellie just refuses to play rookies for some reason. He has way too much upside to get rid of...

The only trade I could see GS pulling would be:

I think the W's might trade Harrington for Artest. Ron can play the PF in that system. Not sure how Ron and S-Jax would work together now.

Ellis can't play point. He has the same PG skills that Douby has, none...
