Uh, "not identical" is not the opposite of "not mutually exclusive."

You said (ellipsis mine):

Are you suggesting that ... "acknowledging a fact" and "whining" can't occur simultaneously?

If they can't occur simultaneously, they would be mutually exclusive, and since that part of your sentence seemed quite clear in intent, I assumed that the "not" in "not mutually exclusive" was a typo.

Still, I should have known better than to use a phrase like "quite the opposite" with you to mean "very different" when the distinction was more orthogonal than literally opposite. :)

The formula needs revising

An inverse exponential factor

Every pound of fat lost, the former is of more significance to the lesser. The first pound of fat lost would equate to a third of a win gained. The inverse exponential potential would reach the negative win gained value around the 10 pounds of fat lost mark. Thus, for maximum wins gained, a loss of 10 pounds of fat would be required. Each pound of bodyfat before the 10 pound mark would equate a third less of win value then the former.

Regardless

Cousins playing better = Team wins more games

Cousins in better physical condition = Cousins playing better

Cousins losing excess fat (5-10 pounds) = Cousins in better physical condition

If Cousins loses the baby fat, the team wins more. Trickle-down economics.

With this same logic:

Workers that build a house less drunk = House more stable
Workers buy less beer = Workers are less drunk
Beer costs more = Workers buy less beer

If beer would cost more, our houses will be more stable. Can't argue with that, I guess o_O

Well you'll definitely get a poorer quality house if your builders are working under the influence. The price of beer will never neglect the satiation of a lifestyle. Perhaps in hypothetical terms, but certainly not realistic ones. The human being is a creature of habit. The details might not matter to you, but the details do matter. Considerably.

Demarcus' physical condition directly impacts his play on the court. Your comparison is not very good. A good attempt nevertheless... but flawed.

I'll give you one thing. You're committed...or should be.

Why are football lineman so darn big? In case this is too subtle, it also goes to the argument that Boogie can and DOES use his size to advantage much as a lineman does. This is part of his uniqueness. He carves out space. Always has, always will. People are afraid to take a charge when he goes in for a dunk.

Nobody can prove that his size is what is leading to this year's injuries.
