Here's a few actors I admire and I think do really good work:
Sean Penn
Peter Dinklage
Michael Madsen

As far as the Kings go Reke/DMC beasted in the 4th. Too bad is wasn't for the whole game. What happend to the rest of the team last night? With less mistakes the Kings beat the Hawks. I definitely see progress now from the Kings. I'm hoping for a strong second half. Go Kings!

While I agree with many of the actors above, a couple need to be added (off the top of my head):

Hugo Weaving
Kevin Spacey

I haven't necessarily seen everything these guys have done, but the few that I have seen I have been impressed with what they did.

Agree with both of those. Didn't realize immediately that Hugo Weaving was in V for Vendetta, but once I found that out, his stock went through the roof for me. That was an amazing performance.

You seriously left Leonardo DiCaprio off the list?

Don Cheadle is the same guy in every movie he's in. Great actor but just doesn't awe me in a way that Leo does.

Greene ( INC ) -- And it all started when Donte entered, and Casspi shifted over to SG. This should be noted too: on the season Donte has the second highest +/- on the team amongst our regulars. We are normally better when he is on the floor, and tonight everythign started when he checked in, coincidence or no.

You know, we've seen those two on the court together several times and it always seems to play out well for us. I know there is some concern about not having that second ballhandler out there with Reke, but by having Casspi and Greene out there on the wings you force the other team to guard Tyreke with a PG which almost always goes very very badly for them (not to mention Omri should be able to shoot over most shooting guards). I'm pretty surprised given the trend this year of a new starting lineup every three games that this has't gotten more of a look for more than garbagetime minutes.

You probably confused them - its leo who's the same damn guy in all of his movies - a nervous freaking out tough guy.Just not in the same league with Don.

And btw RDJ was pretty brutal in Due Date. Well the movie itself was bad as hell. Also he put a sure stinker during his addiction years called US Marshalls.

I agree with this, I like the line-up of
Evans
Casspi
Greene
Thompson
Cousins
Hopefully Westphal gives this a shot one day.

Wow. So he's played a retarded kid, a druggie, a schitso, an Englishman, and the list goes on. He's the epitome of an actor who can play virtually any role. And do an amazing job too. I have no idea what you're talking about.

yea and all were the same. If you want to talk actors who can play everything thrown at them try Russell Crowe or Johnny Depp for instance.

Does your GF have a thing for Leo and it's created a personal vendetta against the guy inside of you?

Yeah, that was me for a while. Then I watched the Basketball Diaries and Gilbert Grape and realized how solid he is.

I wonder how many of the folks who say he's a one note actor have seen Gilbert Grape? Honestly, his performance in Gilbert Grape ranks among the best acting performances I've ever seen and is nothing like his "normal" roles. Having said that, I don't see why being a one note actor would be a bad thing by default anyways. There's a lot to be said for doing one thing and doing it well. Some of the best actors of all time like Bogart and Eastwood are essentially one note actors but they're also awesome!

Blood Diamond, Gangs of New York, The Retarded - tell me the difference in his characters...
Catch me if you can, The Beach, Titanic, Basketball diaries - the same. Shutter Island and The Aviator - the same.
Name me at least one role (except for the Inception) where he didnt overact...

Even if true, what's the problem? The same can be said of many great actors. Pacino, Nicholson, Wayne, De Niro, Bogart, Eastwood, Stewart, etc. played similar characters in many of their films. It's called having a trademark style. It's more important to be good than it is to reinvent yourself with every role just for the sake of being "different".

You haven't seen Gilbert Grape, obviously, otherwise you wouldn't be saying this.
