This week, if you've got a spare hour and can get in the area, you can help rebuild Fort Natomas, which is a playground that was burnt down in the summertime by vandals.
This park is just down the road from Arco Area and was built by the community in 1991. It is now being rebuilt by the community this week.
Skilled and unskilled, everyone is welcome. There is also child care if you need it. I've seen people from the local fire department to high schoolers and neighorhood families spare some free time in these past two days.

All you need to do is just show up and you can check in. I'm not sure what time they start, I think about 8am but I know they are going until about 9:00pm.
