rumor has it that gary payton may get a buyout of his contract from the atlanta hawks and become a free agent... if he does, the kings would be wise to try and sign him for the veterans minimum... he will give the kings an experienced PG behind bibby... especially since we do not know when bobby will be back and how effective he will be after his injury... payton will be a nice insurance policy and he wanted to be on the west coast, near his family....
 
Yeah this has bee all over the networks and the interentn and Kings fans. Not sure Petrie will wnat to sign him, not sure if he will make a big enough differnece, but would make a nice insurance pollicy incase Bobby is not able to come back or rusty when he does.
