Dearest Grant: Many people are not surprised at how bad this team is. It's a non-functioning roster.
As for the Lakers game, that was just a perfect storm sort of situation coming against the Lakers. LA was still moping about the trade veto, still a bit chaotic and had just lost two games to the team that did get "their" guy. They open up against a very good Chicago team and lose at the buzzer, then play in Sacramento the next night against a hyped crowd and fresh legs. Thornton had a great game and the Lakers age was showing. A lot of things were in favor of the Kings on that night.

Hopefully we don't have to that train wreck tomorrow. The Raiders winning and making the playoffs would be enough to offset this loss.

Yep. January has 12 of 17 games on the road. February has 8 of 13 games on the road. That's 20 of the next 30 games on the road. Yikes!
