Frontline shortage on Halloween?

Considering all the Big men on the training camp roster I'm not so sure how many will be ready to go when the season starts. Im sure we will see lots of young guys during the pre-season, will be intersting if we end up keeping some of the partial guaranteed players. Yeah I know its too early to speculate how things will shake out through the pre-season, but with todays Kings notes and practice reports (All quotes are from Sat Kings Notes in RSS Feeds ... http://www.sacbee.com/kings/story/418047.html) my guess for Halloween is as follows:

Our Eight Man Rotation (Majority of Minutes)
Center: Miller, Justin
PF: Mikki, Justin
SF: Cisco, Salmons
SG: Kevin, Salmons
PG: Bibby, Douby

On the Bubble:
Kenny Thomas
"Brief rest? -- Kenny Thomas sat out Friday's practice with tendinitis in his right thigh, but Theus said he expects the forward to participate today.
"He told me he'd be all right (Friday), which really means, 'Coach, I'm tired,' " Theus said." First mention of KT in any of the Camp quotes or articles" If KT is already tired I really hope he will ride the bench, but I suppose he might get some minutes if the up tempo game wears out our 3 bigs. But really hope Breif Rest will turn into long term Rest.

Darrell Watkins
If he impresses enough in Pre-season, maybe Kings will keep him around, He would bring final Roster up to 14 (Assuming either Mustafa or Greene stays)
If our 3 Bigs do get tired, would rather see him get some minutes over KT

Mustafa or Greene
My guess one of these two will be avail if Bibby or Douby doesnt show up on defense, which one? Flip a coin for now until pre-season is over.

Not Ready for Prime Time Players:
Ron Artest : Suspended for 7 Games - Will be good for Cisco, who I think is already coaches pet. Hope Cisco has a great start and will help keep him in the rotation after Ron is back.

Shareef: "The Kings announced Abdur-Rahim would miss three to four weeks, marking his earliest return date as Oct. 26, when Sacramento plays its exhibition finale against the Lakers. He also will seek a second opinion." Well this news tells me that Shareef is no way ready to play, and dont want him back until he is 100% and ready to run hard with the pack. Hope Coach feels same way.

Spencer Hawes:
"Kings coach Reggie Theus, who said Thursday that surgery was possible, acknowledged a day later that the fear of something worse is hard to ignore.
"Something's not going right," Theus said. "There's something obviously not right. I'm just hoping it's the latter of the possibilities. If he needs to have a cleanup (arthroscopic surgery), then I'm very happy. But it might be something else."

Of course things will get interesting as these three come back online, Cisco and Salmons will battle have to earn their minutes when Ron is back. Spencer will work his way into our Big man rotation with the other 3 bigs give up some minutes. I think Shareef will have to prove himself at the expense of Justin's minutes. Maybe

Really good informative feed. Thanks. Tuesday we get to see early progress but won't learn much in first pre-season game or two.

I had torn miniscus( probably misspelled ) in my left knee. It was sticking out in places it wasn't suspossed to be. Very painful. They went in and cleaned it out. That along with a cortizone shot and I was as good as new. I have never had a problem with it since, and beleive me I've done my best to abuse it. So lets hope its nothing more than a clean up procedure. I know, with the Kings you always expect the worst.
Has anyone ever wondered that if we had drafted Robert Horry instead of Walt Williams, would we have won the championship that year? Or would Horry still have been on the Lakers. Ahh fate....

I'm scared he's gonna need microfracture again. They already admitted the problem was cartilege. UGH.

Yeah, if it's microfracture, he's out for the season. But in reality, that just gives Justin more PT. This year is about 'getting to know you' anyway. Still wondering what Petrie has in mind...really...c'mon.
