I think the Sac media is hostile to the front office largely because they don't give them scoops. I mean sure Vivek isn't the best but he's also not the novice owner that tripped all over his feet, yet for some reason they love to go back to that cherry picking comment now, and Monte hasn't closed a big big deal (except DDR but for some reason that doesn't count) since Domas. And Huerter and Monk and ...

I liked Brown and he was certainly charming but the narrative on his firing is also annoying, I still want to know if the morning practice he ran before the LA flight was scheduled (if so why? 4 hour practice right before a flight?) or punishment for the loss the night before. And if the latter maybe we should take the nice guy tag off Brown. And Fox and co. are being so opportunist about it because it was largely Fox's play that got Brown fired. I do not believe that Paul's hands are clean when Brown was basically calling Fox out for not being good enough after every game. Not helpful when trying to land a big contract for your client. C'mon now. This we're innocent shiz is gaslighting.

this is chicken scratch if they are acting like team threw him under the bus after Brown, they quite clearly chose Fox over Brown in that moment when someone had to be clearing out their locker/office after that game. Also why would they be trying to make Fox look bad while trying to trade him?

Fox's camp is doing a bang up job making him look bad on their own.

They were trying to trade him for 2 years. Now he's amazing. If we're not getting Ware they ain't getting Fox.
Agreed, I just can't see them trading Ware after only seeing what he could potentially become for a short minute. Everyone salivates about a 7 footer with huge reach that shoots 3 s and blocks shots.

my guy still salty about getting fired half a decade ago.
I don't know Pete Youngman. Seems like he has been a respected professional for his career. But I really can't quibble with the organization pushing for a fresh start in a lot of ways as they were in the middle of a 16 year playoff drought. Just like Mike Malone, after years of bitterness, you wonder why they let this organization have such a hold on them. Let it go man...
