If Beal wasn’t allergic to cold weather he could probably make the Bucks a serious contender in the East given the injuries.

Clipps may get some regular season wins and have a decent Playoff seeding but that team is treading water and they won't rebuild because Ballmer needs butts in the seats in the new arena

Not really a surprise to this idiot who had a divorce involving custody of a child in the great state of Oregon.

Also his brother runs 7on7 football here, they are all tied up here. Good to see.

as someone who has never been but have been contemplating visiting, what is so great about Oregon?

I don't follow
I was being sarcastic. While I do like a lot of things about Oregon, the archaic child custody laws are not one of them.

Good things... no sales tax (at a heavy cost though, absolutely brilliant for visitors, especially those coming from up North in Washington), the coast, the mountains, SE Portland neighborhoods, Bend, Astoria, local craft beer, soccer supporter culture, the music scene is quirky and fun. Good food scene.

Thing I don't like: a city centered on growing without any sustainable jobs/industry or infrastructure to support all the growth over the last decade. New residents who think the Oregonian lifestyle is silly and demand we do things however they did where they came from. Bars and restaurants close too early since 2020. Downtown (Portland) sucks.

thank you for your insights. so in your view, does the good outweigh the bad in your circumstances or do you have a desire to move elsewhere?
I know you mentioned Tucson on a number of occasions.

I would like to get out of here during winter season and stay in the PacNW for summer season. I am unsure if that means Portland, or going further North, or possibly to Bend. My partner will have some say too.
