I think they grandfathered Caruso and Hartenstein into great deals for the next couple of years but I’m not sure how they can afford to keep a guy like Cason Wallace, who is primed to explode in a a much bigger role somewhere a la James Harden, as their third/fourth guard when he comes up for an extension next summer.

My guess is they won’t. They will use draft picks to replace him.

Yeah, they're just going to have to keep flipping their guys for picks before they have to pay them. Not a bad strategy though; cheap young FRP around sga chet and jalen
