Fox replaces Ball - Rising Stars Challenge

Glad he made it. Any other year he would've been a shoe in, but this rookie class has been crazy good.

Lonzo: 10 ppg/7 rpg/7 apg/ 1.5 spg
Tatum: 14 ppg/ 5rpg/ 1 spg/ 48% shooting
Fox: 11pg/ 3rpg/ 4 apg/ 1spg
Markkanen: 15ppg/ 8rpg/ 2 3pg
DSJ: 15ppg/ 4rpg/ 5 apg/ 1 spg
Mitchell: 20ppg/ 4rpg/ 3apg/ 2 3pg
Kuzma: 15 ppg/ 6rpg/ 2 3pg
Simmons: 16 ppg/ 7rpg/ 7apg/ 2spg

That doesn't even include the guys that have played well for winning teams, but haven't put up numbers like Anunoby, Jordan Bell, and Kennard. This draft (not counting Simmons) might wind up with the most all stars since 2003.

Scary to think that next year we could have up to five players in the Rising Stars game.

Fox
Buddy
Bogdanović
Giles
Top 5 pick in the draft

Can Buddy participate next year? Unless I’m mistaken and they’ve changed the rules, I thought it was for 1st and 2nd year players only?

Buddy will be a 3rd year player next season.

Just imagine if any of or all of Frank Mason, Justin Jackson and Harry Giles rise to that level too. This past draft could really go down as a historic draft with regard to the number of really good player and all stars.
