The Suns and Sonics rank 1 and 2 in three point shots attempted and they have the best records in the NBA. Generally hoisting up the three does not go to well. Could it be that times are changing in the NBA?

Personally, I think both these teams will eventually die by the three, but they sure are living by it now.

That's why I'm not too worried about either team. Eventually, they'll come back down to earth from beyond the arc.

After the All-Star break those 3's will start to be a bit short as their legs begin to tire.
