Another Flip to the D...
Flip Murray has agreed to a two-year deal with the Pistons, starting at $1.7 million for this upcoming season. He will be play behind Chauncey Billups, and at times, can be used as a backup to Richard Hamilton as well.

Although Murray, who was with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, struggled in the playoffs against the Pistons, he seems to be the kind of change-of-pace guard Joe Dumars said he was looking for.

More details to come.

Pistons won't be the defensive juggernaut they once were. Lookes like they are going for more offense. I'm suprised that Flip went for the Pistons deal, I thought he wanted a starting spot somewhere after proving his worth in Cleveland.

If it is a multi-year contract, he may get that starting spot in a year...

Actually I'd say before, when they signed Nazr Mohammed for the MLE... they wouldn't give us Rip or Prince. But, this absolutely confirms it, sure.
