first quarter decides the fate of the kings

I don't understand why this team gets to a slow start , hopefully they use the advantage of ARCO to get off a strong start . Though the kings can make a game at late in the 3rd and 4th quarter , we need to win the battle in the first quarter to keep the pressure on the sonics both games. TOMORROW IS A MUST WIN !!!

BIBBY - we need you to be on the 2002 WCF level to win the series.

the supersonics are playing hungrier right now and the kings dont look like they want to be on the court. our second unit played well during garbagetime but i am looking for a better effort from all our guys especially our starters at home on friday. we are capable of winning this series if they man up and play kings ball RIGHT NOW. no time for dwelling on the first 2 games. they are over and done. i hope they can turn this around.

Grant's take is that Seattle has merely done what they're supposed to at home and now it's the Kings turn to do what they're supposed to at home...I don't know. I do think it's time for some innovative thinking to create mismatches instead of reacting to them as we so often do. Maybe a lineup with Peja at SG, Bibby PG, Brad PF, Tag C and Thomas at SF would shake things up. But whatever we do you've got to admit that the odds are against us taking the next four out of five and confirms most observer's opinions that we're already looking forward to the off season to re-build and focus on next year. But I like a Cinderella story as much as the rest of the sports world so I'll still be pulling for our guys til the last minute.
