Rules:
1. Photos must be original. If you didn't take it, don't post it. NOTE: Photos you originally posted in the "Post a photo" thread are eligible. Repost them in this thread - or let me know the post # and I can copy the post over to here.
2. Post must include the category. Please reduce your photo to make it easy to view. And, from a selfish viewpoint, please do not post multiple photos in one post. One post - one photo. (This will also make it much easier for me to compile a thread of each category of photos for voting purposes.)
3. I want this to be fun, so please no photos that aren't suitable for family viewing.
4. If any questions come up, I think the people actually participating should be able to decide if something is appropriate ... or in the correct category ... etc.
5. First round of voting (done by public poll) will be within each category. Winners will advance to the "best of show" second round.
Here are the categories so far:
1. sports/action
2. people (posed and candid)/street photography
3. pets/animals
4. architectural/cityscape
5. landscape/nature
6. cell phone photos
7. photoshop creations - before and after
If you can think of anything else, let me know.
