OMG.. horrible call at the end of the Houston Mavs game. They let Finley come from out of bounds and steal the ball from Barry then they called a foul. That bad call was the difference in the game.

I was originally sorry I missed the game, but if the Mavs won, then I am not sorry for missing it. How was the officiating other than the call that handed the win to the Mavs? Cuban is such a friggen hypocrite. He whines to the league about the officiating and then says the officiating is the same for everyone. Blech!!! :rolleyes:

I am thinking when you are standing right on the line you are not thinking that the "rules" will be changed for Finley and he can stand out of bounds and swat the ball away from you.:rolleyes:

Well, 6th.. after that Houston was trying to trap and was not trying to foul and the official anticipated they "were going to foul" and blew the whistle which put the Mavs on the line. We will never know if that trap might have been successful...:eek:

Totally agree about Cuban. He wins the most irritating NBA owner award hands down.

If you can't stop Finley, then your team to will probably have very little hope of prevailing in a playoff series against the Mavs. This 'Choke City' Houston team couldn't stop Finley, and now they are paying the price...

Dallas IMO is a better team so I am not surprised to hear they won. I didn't see the game and unfortunately poor officiating is part of the game these days.

I have no ideas on what the NBA can do to fix it. Instant replay really wouldn’t work since there are so many bad calls. My only thought would be an instant replay and a challenge system similar to the NFL for the last 1 min of each half. It wouldn’t slow down the game, could cost a team a timeout but also could save a team like us that always seems to get screwed at the end of the game.

He/she is joking don't you see that? Listening if that frigging call wasn't missed you are definatelty facing a very different outcome tonight. That call is just plain DISGUSTING. Even your man Dirk said they are 'lucky' to win the game in the post game interview.

Mavs lose to the Rockets in Game 2 b/c of a very obvious Yao Ming illegal screen. We get a fortunate call to go our way to win game 5. It evens out...

I'm just relieved. These games are going to give me anxiety attacks.

I'm with EvilMav, I haven't posted as much but I love this website I think it's a great forum. I almost want to BLAME FINLEY for everything too sometimes and I find it rather funny.
 
I'm closing this thread temporarily to do some housekeeping. When I reopen it, I expect all parties concerned to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner in keeping with the tone and intentions of this board.

Thanks, Mavsman... I've also long thought that Kingsfans.com is far and away one of the best BBall sites on the internet, and I've always enjoyed lurking and posting here. Since it's inception, K-F has always been very commendably accepting of intelligent debate and discussion with fans from many other teams, and I've always seen that as being one of it's greatest strengths as both a forum and community...
