I don't know what game you've been watching but I think he's a pretty amazing player right now.
but everytime the mavs went into a zone he couldnt take advantage of it..... kobe would have made them pay without hesitation.... as would bibby.....

HOW LONG has Dwayne Wade been in the league? To compare him to Kobe Bryant is simply and totally ridiculous. He just scored 43 points AND won the game from the line despite unbelieveable pressure.
I'm giving him MAJOR props. I can't think of many players - especially his age - who could have done any better under any circumstances.+

The Mavs are so frigging annoying. Gosh, the gravy train guy is going to win his first ring.
I don't think Howard is quite as bad as Webber's yet. Dallas still has two games at home to erase this from anyone's memory. Plus Howard's only cost them a chance at a tough shot - not points, possession and the championship like Webb's did.
But if they lose the next game it will be a long time before he ever lives it down.

I was just about to post the same thing; I almost missed it when I was about to switch over to ESPN.Seeing Dirk pissed off, breaking stuff while walking back to the locker room is priceless. That made my night

er.. lebron is not exactly known for being a clutch player. actually, melo is more clutch than james and i am not sure either would have done what wade did with that sort of pressure on him.

I don't agree. It was pretty clear that he was fouled IMHO.

From the low-angle replay, it appeared that the Mavs stayed away from Wade, especially Dirk, yet he was the one who got the foul.
Of course, to be fair, Dirk got a call like that in the series vs. the Spurs, so it's not as if the Mavs haven't been on the other end of a late game foul that allowed the game winning shots to be taken from the free throw line.
And Wade was the aggressor all night. Couple that with the fact that he's a superstar (or fast becoming one), and he's going to get those calls.

I think that's right --- if/when the Heat win the title, then the Josh Howard time out (coupled with his two earlier missed free throws) will loom large as one of the reasons for the Mavs not winning the title. I certainly feel for the guy right now. But unlike CWebb, he has a chance to redeem himself Tuesday (and Thursday, if the Mavs can force a game 7).

I thought Dirk caught him on the top of his head, but I was suprised to see the refs call a foul in the final second of a playoff game anyway.

It was definitely a foul. Was it a foul, that you call in OT at the end of game 5 of the NBA Finals. I don't think so.
IMO.
