Fanfare: No one could coach Kings out of their poor decisions

If Don Nelson had coached the Kings last season, what would he have done? He would have had the same roster Eric Musselman had, and there aren't enough small, athletic guys on the Kings roster to put on the court, unless you want three of the five to be under 6-foot-2. The Warriors are tailor-made for Nelson, all 6-4-to-6-8 athletic shooters. We need to get back to letting Geoff Petrie call the shots. These last two years don't have Petrie's calculating patience stamped on them. But it does have the stamp of impatience by others in the organization. Let's blow it up and build for the future with a long-term coach. At No. 10, we'll get a very good player in the draft. Let Geoff do his thing.
