I am weary of the roster of retreads offered as the candidate list for the Kings' vacant head-coaching position. How about adding someone really new and exciting? Someone who knows about both defense and offense. Someone who knows about making free throws. Someone who will command the respect of the players because he is on everyone's top 10 all-NBA players list. Someone who is motivated to coach in the NBA. Someone who won't cost much, relatively speaking. Someone who will add dynamics to this dull team. Someone who is a proven winner. Someone well-known to the fans. The answer is: Rick Barry.
