Eric Maynor to the Thunder!

Ideally not, but the move saves them $14 million, which they decided was worth more than a backup PG.

Solid pickup by the Thunder for a pass-first PG. I'm not high on Maynor at all, but he can easily create offense and rack up assists by the bushel, and that's what they need with Westbrook's turnover-proneness at PG. He lacks upside, as he's not an elite athlete nor will he ever be a good shooter, and low-turnover PGs don't tend to improve as much in future seasons. But we'll see if he proves me wrong. As for the Jazz, they save $.

Maynor isn't going to be a all-star..but if he improves his D, he can have like a Eric Snow type career.

In fact, he reminds me of Snow a lot(w/ not nearly as good D)
