You still don't get it. I could give a damn about who was fired, traded, screwed over, or beheaded.

Not the point.

Beyond the likely mistake of firing Adelman, this is about HOW YOU CONDUCT YOURSELF. Its about whether the organization we call our own, who's colors we wear, who's name we tout, has any sense of honor, courtesy, honesty and a bunch of other characteristics that absolutley DO still matter. Its about how you treat people, and how you conduct yourself. And its got NOTHING to do with wins or losses. You can be the crappiest team in the league, and still do it right. Or you can be an embarrassing vat of swill like the JailBlazers, make the playoffs every year, and be an embarrassment.
That's very true in an ideal world-everyone acting in the correct, moral, way. However, this is reality. People in business screw each other over all the time. Five years I was fired from my job of three years, right in the middle of a staff meeting in front of everyone, and my rhymes-with-witch boss refused to give me an explanation. And I could do nothing about it. Neither can Adelman, except smear the Maloofs publicly, which he is understandably doing and has every right to.

Wow. I don't understand why some people feel the need to share their PERSONAL experience as though it could in any way be compared.

Look around. The objection to how the whole situation was handled isn't just confined to a couple of people here just trying to stir things up.

Adelman smearing the Maloofs publicly? No, he's putting out his side of the story. He has not conducted (nor would I expect him to do anything even close to) a smear of the owners of the Kings.

Yes, the Maloofs are great owners. They're passionate and excited, just like kids with a very expensive toy. But does that mean we can't be the ones to point out the obvious? They MISHANDLED this very badly. They are very public figures - in fact, one of the newest allegations against Adelman is that he wasn't public enough. So, if we're going to praise them when they do things we think are for the good of the team we love and support, then why isn't it acceptable to point out when they make a big mistake?

Hello? The emperor wasn't wearing any clothes.
