I love watching them play but I just feel with the team we have we should be in the playoffs every year Barry is with us. As long as we get him a ring!

Throwing money around has never assured teams of anything. Look at the Mets. And the Giants have had something like 4 meaningless games in the past 5 years, your 30 dollars has been well earned.

this is true. the yanks also throw money around, and they have 27 rings. i don't necessarily want the giants to burn a hole in their pocket, but i do want them to get a bat behind bonds ( so we can actually make teams pay for walking him, i mean pay by a home run, this line drive stuff doesn't do it for me. we need more then one big bopper in the lineup) and i do think it would be in their best inresting to get a legit # 2 starter, another horst like schmidt who can pitch deep into games. and a better closer. the combination of 2 dominating SP's, and a good lineup with a decent closer can win you a WS. 2001 for crying out loud, schilling and johnson pitched so many innings the BP didn't really matter.

i just want us to be doing everything possible to win a championship with bonds, not trying to line their pockets.
